-Factors: II (Prothrombin), VII, IX & X (Proteins C & S are also vit. K-dependent but are anti-coagulative in nature)
-synthesized in the liver (along with Proteins C & S) --> acquire Gla (Gamma-Carboxyglutamate) residues (necessary for calcium binding) --> required for pro-coagulant activity
